October 30th NHL Recap

Pittsburgh Penguins 3, Boston Bruins 2 (from Pittsburgh) - The Penguins exacted some revenge on the Bruins from their loss in the Eastern Conference Finals, beating the Bruins 3-2 and improving to 9-4-0 on the season. With the loss the Bruins drop to 7-4-0.

3. Logan Couture - Couture scored his 7th goal of the season and added an assist in the Sharks 4-3 OT loss to the Kings.
2. Anze Kopitar - Speaking of the Kings, Kopitar came up big for them scoring the GWG in OT and adding an assist on the tying goal in the 3rd.
1. Jonathan Bernier - The Leafs continued the pattern of winning despite being heavilty outshot, and Bernier was up to the task tonight making 41 saves on 43 shots for the 4-2 win over the Flames.

Interesting Stat of the Night - The Leafs have won back-to-back games in Alberta, beating the Oilers 4-0 and the Flames 4-2 tonight. However, they have done so despite being heavily outshot 86-48 in those 2 games including 43-22 tonight.
