For the second time in 4 seasons, a new team is joining the NHL in the Seattle Kraken and that means we get the all exciting expansion draft! These are always so interesting to me, I think it would be so cool to me on that management team in Seattle to pick an entire NHL roster from the other teams, having over a year to scout and make mock drafts. It's basically the equivalent of fantasy hockey in real life. Anyways, here's a look at everything you need to know heading into the expansion draft on Wednesday July 21st: a quick look at all trades in the NHL that happened after the season/leading up to the trade freeze, a breakdown of all 30 (Vegas is exempt from the draft) teams protected lists and what players will be exposed, followed by a mock draft and how I think Seattle's roster will shape up.
