Three Stars of the Night:
Honourable Mention - Frans Nielsen had a big game for the Islanders, scoring once and adding to assists. He quietly is tied for 4th in the NHL with 14 points to lead the Islanders.
3. Jhonas Enroth - The last place Sabres were desperate for a win tonight, and backup goalie Jhonas Enroth provided a huge spark for the team with 1-win. The Panthers outshot the Sabres 45-21, but Enroth made 44 saves for the win
2. Ryan Kesler - Kesler continued his strong play on the Canucks 7-game road trip, scoring 2 goals including the GWG.
1. Matt Duchene - Duchene was a force tonight, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist in a 4-2 win for the Colorado Avalanche.

Highlight of the Night - Speaking of the 1st star, Duchene scored another highlight-reel goal: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/matt-duchene-scoring-video-game-goals-season-video-023014717--nhl.html. Duchene is a one-man highlight reel

Interesting Stat of the Night - After registering only 1 goal in the first 6 games of the season, things looked dull for Ryan Kesler heading into a 7-game road trip. However, Kesler responded in a big way scoring 6 goals and adding 3 assists on the road trip leading the Canucks to a 5-1-1 record.
