-Ducks D Alex Grant scored on his 1st NHL shot in his 1st NHL game tonight.

-The Hawks became the 1st team this season to 20 wins.
-The Avs had their 1st shootout of the season, leaving only the New York Rangers who haven't been in a shootout yet.
-Things keep getting worse for the Islanders, as they scored late in the 3rd and looked to end their 5-game losing streak. However the Caps tied it shorthanded with 1 minute left, and Ovie scored his NHL-leading 21st goal in OT to send the Isles to their 6th straight loss.
-Justin Williams scored his 200th NHL goal tonight.
