3. Alex Steen - Steen continued his hot start to the season, scoring his NHL-leading 17th goal (the eventual game winner) and adding an assist in the Blues 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
2. Craig Smith - Smith had a big part in the Predators 7-2 rout over the Blackhawks, scoring 1 goal and adding 2 assists.
1. Martin Hanzal - Hanzal had a monster night for the Coyotes, as he scored 1 goal and added 3 assists in the Coyotes 6-3 win over the Lightning.

Interesting Stats of the Night:
-The Hurricanes pulled of an extremely rare feat tonight, scoring 2 shorthanded goals in the same penalty kill.
-Alex Steen improved his NHL-leading goal total to 17 goals tonight. Steen is only 7 goals away from tying his career high in goals (24) and it is 18 games into the season. Steen now leads the NHL with 26 points, and has points in 17 of 18 games this season.
-Marek Mazanec picked up his 1st NHL win for the Predators.
-Connor Murphy, the Coyotes 1st round pick (20th) in 2011, made his NHL debut tonight scoring his 1st NHL goal which ended up being the GWG.
-The Red Wings have lost 5 straight games, all in OT/SO.
