-The Red Wings honoured long-time defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom tonight, retiring his #5 jersey to the rafters at Joe Louis Arena
-Nathan MacKinnon extended his point-streak to 13 games, passing Wayne Gretzky for the longest streak as an 18-year old.
-Tyler Seguin scored his 3rd hat trick of the season.
