Interesting Stats of the Night:
-Vincent Lecavalier scored his 400th career goal.
-Since January 20th Gustav Nyquist has 22 goals in 27 games, and during that stretch he has scored 29% of the Red Wings goals in those 27 games.
-Patrice Bergeron extended his goal streak to 7 games, tying Corey Perry for the most this season. Bergeron has 27 goals on the year, and 8 goals in the 7 game goal-streak.
-Tuukka Rask made a career-high 49 saves today.
-Alexander Ovechkin ranks 1st in the NHL in goals with 48, but dead last in the NHL in +/- with a -34 (Nail Yakupov is 2nd worst with a -33).
-Shea Weber scored his 21st goal of the season, the most goals for any defenceman this season (Erik Karlsson and Dustin Byfuglien have 20 each).
