-The Panthers/Capitals shootouts went 20 rounds, the longest shootout in NHL history. There were all 11 goals scored, the most in a single shootout in NHL history. All 18 players shot for each team, whiel Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, Jussi Jokinen and Nick Bjugstad shot twice with Bjugstad scoring the shootout winner.
-Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 2nd hat trick of the season and 2nd of his career.

-The Leafs snapped the Ducks 7-game winning streak while extending their season best winning streak to 6 games.
