Interesting Stats of the Night:
-Marc-Andre Fleury picked up his 300th career win. He is the 3rd youngest goalie in NHL history to reach 300 wins at 29 years old, 361 days, behind only Martin Brodeur (29 years old 223 days) and Terry Sawchuk (29 years old, 323 days). Fleury also reached 300 in 547 games, which is the 3rd fastest in NHL history behind Jacques Plante and Andy Moog.
-Joe Morrow scored his 1st NHL goal for the Bruins against the team that drafted him the Pittsburgh Penguins.
-Stephen Weiss scored his 1st and 2nd goals of the season, and his 1st goal since October 14th, 2013. Weiss also picked up his 400th career point on the 2nd goal.
-Steve Mason picked up his 1st shutout of the season.
-Jaroslav Halak picked up his 3rd shutout of the season.
-Jimmy Howard picked up his 6th career assist.
-Shawn Thornton scored his 1st goal as a member of the Panthers.
