2. Tomas Plekanec - Plekanec scored 2 goals, including the game-winner in the last minute of the 3rd, to lead the Canadiens to a 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs
1. Antti Niemi - Niemi stopped all 34 shots in the Sharks 4-0 win over the Kings, his 1st win and shutout of the season.

Interesting Stats of the Night:
-Stuart Percy and Brandon Kozun picked up their 1st career NHL points in the Leafs loss.
-P.A. Parenteau had a successful debut for his hometown Montreal Canadiens, picking up 2 assists in the win.
-Radim Vrbata scored his 1st goal as a Canuck in his 1st game, many more to come for him.
-Ryan Miller looked shark in his Canucks debut, stopping 23 of 25 shots for the win. Jonas Hiller stopped 29 of 32 shots in his Flames debut in the loss to the Canucks. 
-The Sharks watched the Kings raise their 2nd Stanley Cup banner in 3 seasons and followed it with a dominant 4-0 victory.
