Interesting Stats of the Night:
-The Leafs allowed 2 short-handed goals in the same penalty kill for the 2nd time in a week, the first team since the 1998-99 Penguins to allow 2 short-handed goals in the same penalty kill twice in the same season.
-Martin St. Louis made his Rangers debut hours after he was dealt by the Lightning. St. Louis played 20:11 icetime with 3 shots on goal.
-Dominic Moore had 2 short-handed points in 1:19 in the 3rd.
-Jonas Hiller picked up his 1st assist of the season and 7th career assist.
