Interesting Stats of the Night:
-After starting the season 4-10-1 in their first 15 games, the Flyers have now one 3 straight games and look to have gotten things back on track.
-Nazem Kadri should expect a call from Brendan Shanahan for not 1, but 2 plays from tonight's game. Kadri ran over G Niklas Backstrom in the first, knocking him out of the game (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/nazem-kadri-steamrolls-niklas-backstrom-suspension-coming-video-020527479--nhl.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter). In the 3rd period Kadri took a run at Mikael Granlund and got him up high, which resulted in a 5-minute major and game ejection (http://fansided.com/2013/11/13/nazem-kadri-ejected-for-headshot-video-and-gif/). I'm not sure if it has ever happened before, but Kadri could be suspended for both plays (definitely one for sure).
-After going goal-less in his last 7 games, Crosby got his 9th goal of the season tonight
-The Oilers have now been shutout on home ice for 3 straight games, that must be eating away at Oilers fans.
Forman Faceoff Highlight of the Night:
-You don't usually see an empty-netter as the highlight of the night, but Tyler Seguin proves us wrong with this goal on one-knee from his own zone: http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=35&id=484406&navid=nhl:topheads
